About TCAA
The Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA) is a nationwide trade organization representing ceramic tile and stone installation firms across the United States. Its member contractors are signatory employers with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. In 2001, TCAA launched a merit-based scholarship initiative.
Scholarship awards and eligibility
- One $5,000 scholarship is awarded to an eligible applicant who, at the time of application, is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Two additional $5,000 scholarships are awarded to qualifying immediate family members of employees of TCAA contractor member companies, subject to the stated eligibility requirements and application procedures.
Selection process and conditions
- TCAA retains exclusive authority over the awarding of scholarships. Winners are chosen by TCAA members serving on the Scholarship Committee, and all committee decisions are final.
- Submitted applications and any accompanying materials become the property of TCAA.
