Naumovich Scholarship

Scholarship Sponsored by Naumovich Scholarship Fund

Value: $2,500.00
Awards Available: 1
Deadline : Apr 15, 2026

Overview
The Naumovich Scholarship Fund provides an annual scholarship for Missouri students who are either graduating high school seniors or enrolled college students. When all eligibility requirements are satisfied, preference will be given to applicants of Polish heritage (applicant, parent, or grandparent born in Poland).

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following to be considered:
- Be a graduating high school senior or a current college student.
- Be a resident of Missouri.
- Plan to enroll full time at an accredited, nonprofit U.S. institution (trade/technical school, community college, or four-year college/university).
- Demonstrate unmet financial need. For this scholarship, unmet need is generally calculated as the cost of attendance minus the family contribution and any grant aid the student receives from other sources.

Application requirements and completeness
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Answer every question that applies to you, even if it is not labeled “required.”

Selection criteria
Applications are reviewed on the basis of:
- Written essays describing academic and career objectives and steps taken to prepare for those goals.
- Academic transcript showing prior achievement and likelihood of degree completion.
- Extracurricular and community involvement, including work history.
- Financial need.

Award, deadline, and renewal
- Award amount: $2,500 (renewable).
- Application deadline: April 15, 2026.
- Renewal: Award recipients may apply for continuation of funding for up to four years of undergraduate study, provided they remain in good academic standing and continue to meet eligibility rules. Renewal amounts depend on available funding and the recipient’s demonstrated financial need, both of which may change each year.

Notification and payment
Application status will be updated in June to either “offered” or “denied.” Applicants may check their status by logging into their Scholarship Central account. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to recipients’ institutions in August.

Administration and nondiscrimination
The St. Louis Community Foundation will determine eligibility, financial need, and award amounts for this program. As a fund of the St. Louis Community Foundation, this scholarship does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, national origin, gender, age, color, sexual orientation, veteran status, or physical or mental disability.
