Disbursement of Scholarships
Scholarship America handles scholarship payments on behalf of Hunt Military Communities Foundation. Payments are made in one installment in early August payable to the applicant’s school.
Selection of Awardees
Scholarship awardees are chosen based on:
- Community involvement
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
- An outside appraisal
- The response to two essays of 300 words or less:
