Initiated in 2016, the Houzz Scholarship Program is committed to fostering the upcoming generation of students pursuing studies in fields such as architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, construction management, and skilled trades.
Scholarship for Residential Design
For years, Houzz has been a bridge between homeowners and professionals in the home industry. We are committed to nurturing and fortifying our expanding community. This scholarship is available to undergraduate or graduate students studying interior design, architecture, or landscape architecture who aspire to make a career in residential design.
Since its inception in 2016, the Houzz Scholarship Program has been dedicated to supporting the future generation of students in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, construction management, or skilled trades.
Eligibility Criteria
We invite all students aged 17 or above, studying interior design, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural engineering, or skilled trades in the U.S. and Canada to apply for one of our five scholarships. The Women in Architecture, Residential Design, Sustainable Design, and Construction Management scholarships are available to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. The Skilled Trades Residential Construction Scholarship is open to students enrolled in a certificate program or an A.S. degree program relevant to the residential construction industry.
Application Process
Applicants must fill out a survey detailing their education, career aspirations, and respond to an essay question. Additionally, a link to your Houzz profile, including images from your portfolio where relevant, must be included in the application.
