Jack and Carol McGann Scholarship

Overview
This scholarship supports women and students from underrepresented racial/ethnic groups who are enrolled at Indiana University South Bend and meet the criteria below.
Eligibility
- Must be female and/or a minority student attending Indiana University South Bend
- Resident of St. Joseph County
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each semester
- Demonstrate financial need (completion of the FAFSA is required)
- Preference given to applicants whose tuition and fees are not already covered by other gift or grant aid
Award Details
- At least one scholarship of $1,500 will be awarded annually to assist with tuition and fees
- The award can be renewed for up to four years of full-time undergraduate enrollment
- IU South Bend may prorate the award for students enrolled part time, at its discretion
Number of Awards
- One new scholarship is awarded each year
Important Dates
- General scholarship deadline: April 15
- Note: The CFSJC Scholarship Application (see below) is available beginning in December and must be submitted by February 15

- Applicants should complete the online CFSJC Scholarship Application (posted in December). One submission to that application grants access to 20+ scholarship opportunities.
- Some additional scholarships outside the CFSJC application are listed online for separate review.
