Agri-Business Scholarship — Overview
The Agri-Business Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors from select Nebraska and Wyoming counties who plan to study an agricultural science–related major at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical school.
Eligible applicants
- Residents of Banner, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, or Sioux Counties in Nebraska, or Goshen or Platte Counties in Wyoming.
- High school graduating seniors who intend to declare an agricultural science–related major.
- Must enroll as full-time students (full-time status determined by the chosen institution).
Award details
- Two scholarships are awarded each year.
- Each scholarship is $2,000.
Minimum academic requirement
- Applicants must have an ACT score of at least 20.
Application process and deadline
- Apply online through the Oregon Trail Community Foundation. All application materials must be submitted by April 1.

Required application materials (high school applicants)
- Official copy of ACT or SAT scores (attach to the online application).
- Current high school transcript.
- Three reference letters.
Award conditions
If the recipient fails to enroll as a full-time student for the first semester for which the scholarship is awarded, the scholarship will be withdrawn and given to an alternate.
