Intro
SWE scholarships are awarded to students working toward undergraduate or graduate degrees in engineering, engineering technology, or closely related engineering fields.
Who is eligible
You may apply if you meet all of the following:
- You are an incoming college freshman up through a graduate-level student.
- You will be enrolled full time for the upcoming academic year (exceptions are made for re-entry or other nontraditional students).
- You will be attending an ABET-accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, or computing for the coming academic year,
OR you are enrolled in an approved engineering or related program in India.
Materials required for your application
- Reference contact information:
- Provide one reference who can submit a letter on your behalf. This may be an academic referee (for example, an instructor) or someone who can attest to your character and work ethic (for example, a coach or supervisor).
- Always ask a person before listing them as a reference and verify their contact details are current so they receive the notification and can submit their letter before the deadline.
- An unofficial copy of your most recent academic transcript.
